Protecting Our Youth. Empowering Our Communities. Restoring Hope.
Where Are The Children (WATC) is a child‑safety initiative focused on protecting missing, exploited, and vulnerable youth. We are building resources, awareness tools, and community partnerships to support families and strengthen the response to youth in crisis.
Our vision is a nation where every child is safe, supported, and never forgotten — a world where communities are informed, families are empowered, and vulnerable youth are protected long before they reach crisis. Where Are The Children strives to build a future where every missing child is found, every exploited child is defended, and every young person has the opportunity to grow up in safety and hope.
Our mission is to protect missing, exploited, runaway, and vulnerable youth by raising awareness, supporting families in crisis, and strengthening community response. Where Are The Children works to educate the public, mobilize volunteers, and build partnerships that help bring children home safely and prevent future harm. We are committed to creating safer communities where every child is seen, valued, and protected.
Where Are The Children was born from a deep conviction that our youth deserve more than silence, more than statistics, and more than the fragmented systems that too often fail them. For years, I have watched families struggle alone, communities feel powerless, and children slip through the cracks without the visibility or support they deserve.
This initiative is my commitment — and our collective call — to change that.
WATC exists to bring awareness, action, and accountability to the crisis of missing, exploited, and vulnerable youth. We are building a movement rooted in compassion, community, and the belief that every child deserves to be found, protected, and given a chance to thrive.
Thank you for standing with us as we build something that will outlive us all. Together, we will protect our children, support our families, and strengthen our communities.
— Stephanie Magee, Founder
